*also included is a day trip to Tenacatita (a small village just north of Melaque) for a sunrise class on the beach and a day to explore.
*Suppers can be purchased at one of the many great local restaurants (just steps away) or;
go shopping for fresh fruits/veggies at one of the local markets and make your own supper in your suite.
There will be lots of free time for exploring, swimming and sun tanning.
There are other villages nearby that we can easily visit.

Manzanillo is the nearest airport. It is only 30 minute cab ride away from the hotel
Puerta Vallarta is a four hour bus ride away. So is Guadalahara.
This is a small, lovely oasis of a hotel in the heart of Melaque. The beach is a four minute walk away.
The hotel is made up of six identical suites. The suites include two very spacious bedrooms, two bathrooms, a full kitchen and living room and a balcony.
One of the bedrooms has a king size bed and bathroom. This would be suitable for a couple or two friends that don’t mind sharing the spacious king size bed.
The other bedroom has two double beds, suitable for a couple or two compatible people. This bedroom also has its own bathroom. If you are coming by yourself, I will be sure to pair you up with a suitable room mate.
Schedule:
The day of arrival will be a day to settle in. We will start yoga the next morning.
Your daily program will include a morning session and an afternoon session.
Morning:
8:00-9:30 am – asana
9:30-10:15 am – pranayama and meditation
10:30 am – brunch
Afternoon:
4:00-4:30 pm – pranayama and meditation
4:30-5:45 pm asana
6:00 pm -Supper
Classes will be very managable’. I realize that most of you aren’t use to doing this much yoga! I will pace the classes accordingly. It will never feel like too much yoga…I want everyone to have a great time!

Melaque is nestled on the north shore of the Bahia (Bay) de Melaque and the village of Barra de Navidad on the south shore. If you were to walk, on the beach, from one village to the other it would take about 1 hour. There are buses that run every ten minutes from Melaque to Barra de Navidad. Also, buses run regularly to La Manzanilla, another lovely beach village just 20 minutes north of Melaque.
All amenities are available in Melaque…vegetable markets and groceries, drugstores, great restaurants and coffee stops, clothing stores, a bank and money exchangers, buses, taxis, doctors and dentists.
